Frequently asked questions

Absolutely — I enjoy collaborating with other providers.
-
Yes! I deeply enjoy working with patients in longitudinal therapy. I have extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and also utilize principles from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Family Systems Theory in my practice. If I feel that a type of therapy that I do not offer would be a better fit for you, I am happy to recommend a referral.
-
I am out-of-network for all insurance companies and require payment at time of service. This allows me to provide personalized, high-quality mental health care without any third-party involvement. If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, I can provide you with a “superbill” to seek reimbursement through your insurance. Note that any labs and prescription medication I order for you will be processed as usual through your insurance.

Unfortunately, I cannot currently see patients with Medicare. Medicare does not allow patients to private pay for services unless a physician has formally opted out of accepting Medicare in all clinical settings. I will likely opt out in the future; please reach out to me so I can best gauge interest. I will be happy to notify you in the future if this becomes an option.
